The San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control is informing interested parties that limited funding is currently available for the San Luis Obispo County Marine Engine Grant Program.  This program provides funding to help replace older high-emission commercial marine vessel diesel engines with newer, cleaner engines.

For an application and information on program guidelines, please visit our website:

www.slocleanair.org/programs/marine.php

Please contact us by October 4, 2013 if you have interest in obtaining grant funding through this program.  If no qualified participants for this program express interest in this program by October 4, 2013, grant funds may be redirected for use in other grant programs.

Thank you for your interest in the Marine Engine Grant Program.  For more information, contact Gary Arcemont at 805 781 5912 or garcemont@co.slo.ca.us

Hopefully, a lot of people will show their support to San Luis Obispo County Marine Engine Grant Program especially that the program is in need of funding. The project has a good aim. But since they are having a problem and there is a threat that the project might be postponed, The San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control annoyed that they are open for financial help from different parties. I am sure that a lot are interested to be part of this program.
